Meet Rev. Linda Simonds

Rev. Linda Simonds was born and raised in Massachusetts, lived in Maryland for seven years, and for the last fifteen years has lived in Georgia and Alabama. She has three wonderful children and three fantastic grandchildren (if you dont believe it just ask her - she has pictures to prove it) all of whom reside in Columbus, Georgia.

She has served as Associate Pastor for Forgiving Heart ICCC and has also served on the boards of Faith Baptist Church, Forgiving Heart ICCC, and Family of God MCC. As an activist in the fight against AIDS, Rev. Linda served on the board of Community Outreach Program in Columbus, Georgia. The Community Outreach Program is a non-profit organization that manages the Ryan White grant money and holds World AIDS Day and the AIDS Memorial programs each year. While in Columbus, she volunteered for a hospice as a counselor to the terminally ill and their families.

Rev. Linda completed one unit of Clinical Pastor Education (CPE) at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, graduated from Emmaus Institute and is an ordained minister in the International Christian Community Church; she is currently serving on the governing board of ICCC.

Rev. Linda first came to Holy Trinity as guest pastor on Mother's Day, 2005, and since that time she has filled the pulpit on numerous occasions, and became a member of the Holy Trinity family before being called as pastor. On July 15, 2007, Rev. Linda began her ministry at Holy Trinity and she also works full time at a secular job in Montgomery.
